BIOGRAPHY

Born in 1987 in Iran, Parya Rostamian’s love for classical guitar began at the age of 11, which led her to pursue a music career. She enrolled in Tehran Music University’s three-year performing arts program, and upon graduating, she furthered her education in music education at the University of Florida. While studying, she received private lessons from Rafael Padron, a world-renowned classical- guitarist and the program director of classical guitar at Frost School at the University of Miami. Driven by her passion for music, Parya moved to Canada to study under Iliana Matos, a globally recognized classical guitarist, at the University of Lethbridge.
